Friday, Aug. 1:1:26 a.m. - Caller reports he just saw a man crash his motorcycle off an exit with a "Prairie Market" sign. We page Sunburst ambulance and fire department. Ambulance transports male patient to hospital. Towing company transported bike to Shelby. Patient was admitted to the hospital. We were unable to get a driving history from Canada. Driver was charged with DUI and his license was seized.
10:54 a.m. - Officer at Port in Sweet Grass asks if we have room for one at our jail. We replied yes and they advised the prisoner is Pakistani and speaks very little English.
1:36 p.m. - Assistant manager at store requests an officer for a shoplifter. They return with one male prisoner.
2:57 p.m. - Officer at prison requests an ambulance for one inmate with possible heart attack. We page ambulance and prisoner is transported to local hospital.
6:51 p.m. - Employee at store requests a deputy for a female shoplifter. Deputy brings female in to jail and she bonds out.
11:32 p.m. - Deputy is showing some people where they can camp for the night.
Saturday, Aug. 2: 2:42 a.m. - Local bar owner advises she will be in the bar until about 4:30 a.m. when her husband will arrive. Her bartender got drunk and is passed out sleeping on the floor in the bathroom "naked as a jay bird." We advise we are sending a deputy down to get the whole story. We page ambulance as the male is unresponsive. The male subject is awake now so need to know if still need ambulance. Deputy says yes, just to check him out, and can they bring a blanket as he is naked. Ambulance transported subject to the hospital.
7:59 p.m - Male caller reports the theft of a neon sign from a building he bought eight months ago from a brokerage company. He says it probably was stolen yesterday. An electric company removed the sign but the new owner shows papers that say the sale includes all signage and that anything the previous owner wanted was to be removed by the end of 2007.
9:29 a.m. - Employee at convenience store requests an officer to investigate a theft from last night. She has the tape for the officer. The theft was shown on camera so an officer will be contacting them for more information.
3:12 p.m. - Caller reports her kids' football landed in the yard across the street and woman there will not give it back. Deputy goes to the scene and speaks with both parties. He receives the football and returns it to the children. This appears to be an on-going thing but is resolved for this time.
7:16 p.m. - Pondera County Sheriff's Office reports they received a phone call regarding a northbound semi hauling large boulders is all over the road. Deputy follows the vehicle as far as Bronken Road exit and advises he was not drifting lanes.
11:47 p.m. - Glacier County Sheriff's Office reports they had a call from a party who heard gunshots and sirens east of Cut Bank and asked if we had anything in our area. We advise negative. Deputy goes as far west as Ethridge with negative contact. Various sources are checked but cannot pinpoint any source for this event.
Sunday, Aug. 3: 4:28 a.m. - Caller reports she thinks her neighbors are fighting. Deputy advises he knows the place and left to go to the area. The house is dark and it appears the people are gone. The caller says she heard a lot of cussing and a slam loud enough to wake her up so she thought she should call.
8:15 a.m. - Caller reports the drop deposit at a local bank is full and envelopes can be retrieved by others. We contact an employee who will report and correct this situation.
8:17 a.m. - Caller reports that someone spray painted their pickup with red spray paint last night. Deputy reports to the residence. Then later receive a call from a male who advises there was spray paint on the north side of the old Bitterroot school, as well as other vehicles. We advise deputy who says he is aware of the situation.
2:45 p.m. - Caller reports she was walking her son home and a lady started yelling at her, accusing her of abusing her son. Caller says she wasn't. Another caller reports she was just accused of stalking a girl with a child who was walking in the 700 block of Main. Caller reports the girl was trying to get the child to sit on the curb and yelling obscenities at him. She was trying to get the child to sit on the curb and wait for her and the caller was afraid something might happen as the child might try to follow her and get hurt.
